Things are looking up at Occupy Richmond.
Ever since Richmond Mayor Dwight Jones had the Richmond Police Department eject the citizens from a park across from the Dominion Power Building in River City, it seems that more good looking women have joined the movement.
It could be they were always there, but simply went unnoticed in the general rather scruffy population that took over this high profile public space in Richmond’s financial district.
Or perhaps as one lady told me, city women were hesitant to spend their nights in such a rough and ready environment without a high degree of protection from the local police force.
In any case, ejection from the park has brought a different look to this local interpretation of a national force that seek to speak for the common folk, and it’s a look that double domed sociological experts will puzzle over for years to come.
